Booking tickets with access requirements

Free Companion

We offer a free companion for every access booker who needs one.

You can do this yourself online by following the instructions below, or speak to a member of our team for assistance.

You're welcome to email us at tickets@woolwich.works, phone us on 020 8035 8835, or in person at the Woolwich Works Welcome Desk just inside the main entrance.

To book a free companion ticket:

  1. Create your Woolwich Works customer account or if you already have one, log in to your account here
  2. Go to the Other Preferences tab
  3. Tick the box for ‘I need to bring a Personal Assistant/Companion’
  4. Add a ticket for you and a ticket for your Personal Assistant/Companion to your basket, along with any others – one ticket will discount to £0.00 in the basket.
  5. Continue with your booking as usual.

You will only need to do this once, and this discount will apply to all future bookings.

If you have any issues with this offer applying to your order, please contact us at tickets@woolwich.works. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Booking a wheelchair position

For seated events, we have designated wheelchair positions for wheelchair users who will remain in the wheelchairs for the duration of the event.

If you would prefer to transfer to a seat, we can provide chairs with or without arms as needed - this can be requested in the basket when you make your booking. Please note our seating banks have wide shallow steps up to each row, with no handrails or seat arms.

To book a wheelchair position, you can do this yourself online by following the instructions below, or you're welcome to phone us on 020 8035 8835, or in person at the Woolwich Works Welcome Desk just inside the main entrance.

To book a designated wheelchair position:

  1. Create your Woolwich Works customer account or if you already have one, log in to your account here
  2. Go to the Other Preferences tab
  3. Tick the box for ‘I’m a wheelchair user’

When booking your next seated event, you will now see the designated wheelchair positions on the seating plan as the wheelchair symbol.

‘C’ symbols are seats available just to you for anyone else joining you on your visit.

One seat next to you will be unavailable as this seat will be removed, so there won't be anyone sitting in this seat.

Booking seats to suit your access requirements

All of our performance spaces have level or gently ramped access from street to seat, with lifts and stairs up to our Studios and Beanfeast.

Find more information about seats and spaces, including seat measurements, on our Access & Facilities page.

Our team will be on hand to assist at any time, and you can let us know in the Access Requirements and Assistance Requests section when booking if you’d like additional help. We may contact you to discuss your visit in advance, or recommend alternative seating to best suit your needs.

You're also welcome to contact our team if you have any questions or would like to discuss specific needs, at tickets@woolwich.works or on 020 8035 8835.
