Entry is free of charge, and you can stroll through the beautiful historic rooms, corridors and staircases, as well as the stunning walled gardens and grounds.

Kailash Momo: a fantastic Nepalese restaurant on Woolwich New Road. We recommend booking as it’s a popular place and you really don't want to miss out!

Tamar's Restaurant and Wine Bar: an affordable and authentic West African restaurant, right in the heart of Woolwich.

ViB Bar: a Vietnamese restaurant on Beresford Square in Woolwich town centre. The specialty is their delicious bao buns, and they have a great little seated area outside if the weather’s looking promising.

Viet Baguette: Another great family-run Woolwich business, serving simple honest Vietnamese home cooking.

The Farmers' Market

If you happen to be planning a visit to Woolwich Works on the second or last Saturday of the month then the Royal Arsenal Farmers Market must be put on your list. held outside in Artillery Square, we can confidently say that the market showcases some of best street food and local produce in London. Not to be missed!

Grab a quick drink

SALT Woolwich: our favourite place for a pint from the Yorkshire-based micro-brewery on a mission to unify heritage and modern brewing. Go for the classic combo of pizza and craft beer.
