There & Here - A Celebration (part of Refugee Week 2026)
Luca Silvestrini's Protein and Royal Borough of Greenwich presents Join Protein and Greenwich Borough of Sanctuary for this annual event celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees, migrants and people seeking sanctuary.Enjoy artist and refugee-led performances, arts and crafts, dance jam, singing, live music and a communal meal.
The event’s line-up includes Bantu inspired fashion design from LeenaD; dance performances from participants at Creating Ground and Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants, plus a work in progress from Nua Dance; live music from fusion band DelBand and kora player Malick Kouyate; arts making with Ramin Imantalab; singing from Citizens of the World Choir, the UK leading Refugees and Allies Choir.
There and Here – A Celebration is supported by Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Greenwich Borough of Sanctuary and Woolwich Works.
