Brassworks
SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER 2026
Brassworks is back — and this year we're celebrating five years of Woolwich Works!
Our festival of horns returns on Saturday 5 September with a parade through Woolwich, a full day of free outdoor concerts in our courtyard, and plenty more to discover.
12pm Parade
Join us from 12pm at General Gordon Square as we wind through Woolwich, across the Royal Arsenal and into Woolwich Works. All are welcome — just turn up and join the procession. The parade will feature Brass Funkeys, The Majorettes, NYJO Second Line and Mr Burn and Friends.
12:30pm onwards — Courtyard Stage
A full afternoon and evening of free live music with Crystal Palace Band, NYJO, Mr Burn, Brass Funkeys, Balkanatics and headliners Kongo Dia Ntotila. The DJ on the decks will be DJ BobaFatt.
Workshops
Join a kazoo workshop in morning and join our parade. Or try out a brass instrument in our workshops throughout the day. Book a free ticket for the workshops to guarantee your place.
Free and open to everyone
No tickets needed for the parade or courtyard. Bring the family, bring the dog, and come ready to make some noise!
And there's more!
We'll have delicious food available in both our cafe and in the courtyard, including popcorn and ice cream.
Some of the music may be loud for little ones, so we'll have ear defenders for children (or bring your own). We'll also have a quiet space available for those who need one.
Our courtyard will have plenty of family friendly games and we'll be serving drinks and refreshments in our cafe, courtyard bar and Workers' Bar.
