NYJO Under 18s is a Woolwich Works-based Saturday programme for talented young jazz musicians aged 11-18, offering training, ensemble-playing, performance opportunities and jams to develop technique and creativity. And to have fun too! We’re here to support our young people’s learning and progress no matter what their goals are, or what level of experience they have when they join us. On Saturday 12 July we will be holding our Summer Showcase in the Woolwich Works Courtyard, where young people from our NYJO Under 18s Ensemble, and brand-new First Collective, will be sharing the result of all their hard work over the last year. You will get see young musicians who are right at the start of their musical journey with us, all the way up to talented Grade 8+ players who are about to go on and study music at University. Join us for this joyful celebration of music-making at all levels!
