We are looking for a fun-loving and engaging ELF to join our Christmas Candy Grotto and bring festive joy to families.
Job Description
The Christmas Candy Grotto is heading to Woolwich Works, and we’re looking to make this grotto experience a memorable family festive occasion.
The role of elf allows you to explore an imaginative performance role as you introduce children to Santa.

Job Requirements
Qualities of a good elf:
- Positive attitude - reliable, hard-working and willing to go the extra mile
- Christmas-loving - willing to get stuck in and have fun
- Teamwork: Working closely together with your fellow elves and team members to create a magical experience for all.
- Communication: Ability to engage and adapt communication style to suit a variety of colleagues and visitors.
Santa’s Elf is responsible for:
- Providing a warm welcome to families
- Keeping the workshop tidy
- Finding out children’s names to introduce them to Santa
- Helping Santa throughout his visit
- Checking tickets
- Taking photos
Full training and costumes provided.

- Elf: Hourly pay of £14.80 per hour

2hrs Training/ planning meeting- date and time to be coordinated, this will take place in November.
Friday 28th November, 15:30-19:30 (4hrs, no break)
Saturday 29th November, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Sunday 30th November, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Saturday 6th December, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Sunday 7th December, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Friday 12th December, 15:30-19:30 (4hrs, no break)
Saturday 13th December, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Sunday 14th December, 09:30-18:30 (8hrs, plus1 hr break)
Friday 19th December, 15:30-19:30 (4hrs, no break)
