Executive Assistant
JobsJob Description
About this job
This is a new role at Woolwich Works, leading the administration function for the organisation and supporting the Director and Board with key administrative functions, ensuring that the organisation’s systems work to support everything that we do, whilst paying close attention to detail. Looking after the invitations and guest lists, arranging small scale events on behalf of the Trust and being a welcoming and friendly face to visitors, this is a varied senior administration function.
Is this job for you?
We’re looking for someone with strong experience as an administrator, who is used to developing systems and supporting others to get on board and use them effectively. You’ll enjoy ensuring that the finer detail is correct and gain satisfaction from a job well done.
You’ll be super organised, keep a close attention to detail, be able to manage multiple ongoing and short-term projects at the same time, and love the buzz and liveliness of a 7-day a week events venue. You’ll excel at developing systems that make everyone’s lives easier and be able to learn new IT packages quickly. Whilst experience in live events or the arts would help, they are not essential for this role.
How to apply
Please visit our portal to complete the online application form no later than 23.59 on Monday 28 October 2024 (the ‘closing date’). If you can’t complete the form electronically, we can arrange an alternative version for posting - please contact us by phone to arrange.
Please complete a written statement highlighting your suitability for the role, explaining your experience and interest in working with us, along with a CV. If you’re unable to complete a written application for any reason please either email us on jobs@woolwich.works or call (020) 8035 8835 so that we can discuss alternative arrangements for assessing your suitability for the job. However, you must do so at least one week before the closing date above.
We’re receiving a high number of applications for all our roles. We’ll aim to provide feedback to unsuccessful applicants on request, but please bear with us as this may take some time. We will always let you know if you’ve been unsuccessful.
We’re proud of the diversity of our community and aim to build a team that represents it. We therefore particularly welcome applications from people from black, Asian and ethnically-diverse backgrounds, and those identifying as D/deaf or disabled.
