The first of three nights of spectacular stand-up for our Woolwich Words & Sounds festival of music and comedy this September.

Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and podcast regular SUZI RUFFELL hosts an unmissable line-up of top comedians. She's joined by IVO GRAHAM (Have I Got News For You, Taskmaster), TIM KEY (This Time With Alan Partridge, Taskmaster), plus breakout star DANE BAPTISTE (Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week).

Suzi Ruffell

Suited and booted stand-up comedian Suzi Ruffell has had five sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, racking up critical acclaim from reviewers and audiences alike.

Suzi has graced our screens on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Dating No Filter, The Last Leg and There’s Something About Movies to name but a few! Suzi's a regular on BBC Radio 4 including The News Quiz and The Now Show, and also co-hosts the hit podcast Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen as well as her own hit podcast series, Out With Suzi Ruffell. Suzi’s Amazon special Dance Like Everyone Is Watching was released in 2022 to critical acclaim.

Ivo Graham

Despite extensive grooming for more serious careers at Eton and Oxford, Ivo Graham (now 31) has spent his entire adult life on the comedy circuit, establishing himself as, if not the UK’s poshest, then certainly its most apologetically posh comedian. He's appeared on TV shows including Taskmaster, Have I Got News for You, QI, The Last Leg, Mock the Week and Live at the Apollo.

Tim Key

Actor, writer and poet Tim Key won the 2009 Perrier Award at the start of his career and has since gone on to write and perform eight solo shows. The most recent of which, MULBERRY was described by The Times as 'the greatest stand-up response to Lockdown' with 125 shows performed in 2022 and a new 2023 UK tour (already sold out!)

On screen he is best known as Sidekick Simon in This Time With Alan Partridge and his leading role with Daisy May Cooper in Witchfinder, as well as Inside Number 9, Peep Show and The End of the F***ing World.

Dane Baptiste

Original and provocative, Baptiste is hailed as one of the most exciting acts to break in years. The London-born stand up made comedy history in 2014 as the first Black British act to be nominated for a comedy award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his debut stand up show Citizen Dane. His extensive TV credits include Steph's Packed Lunch (Channel 4), Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Roast Battle (Comedy Central).

This show is BSL signed.
