Sunday 16 July: Olivia Cuttill

Olivia Cuttill is a trumpet player, lyricist, composer and band leader based in Leeds. Olivia’s music is all about melody, the sounds of Joni Mitchell and Jazzmeia Horn have a strong influence on Olivia’s compositions. The band grooves from swing to funk, to second line, to the sounds of Abdullah Ibrahim-inspired Cape Town rhythms.

Playing alongside Olivia are Issey Chivers on vocals, Tom Harris on piano, Fergus Quill on upright bass and Miles Pillinger on drums.
