Saturday night’s cohabitation of extremes will see a rare visit by 81-year-old American legend Roscoe Mitchell, saxophonist, composer and founding member of the Art Ensemble of Chicago; LCMF Orchestra premieres new work by artist Cerith Wyn Evans, composer Oliver Leith, electronic producer Elvin Brandhi and American composers Tyshawn Sorey and Ben Patterson; there will be live sets from Gateshead-based turntablist Mariam Rezaei and young London-based producer No Home, plus shorts by Japanese experimental filmmaker Stom Sogo.
