Woolwich Works presents With support from Manny AlexandraSouth East Londoner - by way of Ghana - Andrew Ashong is an award-winning singer-songwriter. He's gained a loyal following of fans since his debut single 'Flowers' was released back in 2012. His fresh take on jazz and soul music has won him both accolades (‘Track of the Year’ at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards) and critical acclaim (he was chosen as one of The Guardian’s best new artists).
Since then, he’s continued with a handful of brilliant releases, and performed at the likes of GALA Festival, Lovebox, the Jazz Cafe and Ronnie Scott's to name just a few.
Watching him play down the road from where he grew up promises to be a very special experience.
Support will come from up-and-coming, soulful singer-songwriter Manny Alexandra.
