Liz Dale

The performing arts have been an integral part of Liz’s life since she was three years old, and provided the catalyst for a successful career in education and the arts. This has spanned: complementary experiences of performing as a top amateur ballroom and Latin American dancer; teaching and leading dance and drama in secondary schools for over 30 years; maintaining standards as a Chief Examiner for one of the largest awarding organisations in the world, and developing and delivering the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre’s industry-standard accreditation of professional dance, acting and musical theatre training.

She’s co-authored a successful student textbook; devised and delivered training programmes for teachers, trainers and consultants; written examination specifications and subject benchmark statements; and worked in advisory roles for Equity, the Education Funding Agency, Ofqual, Ofsted, QAA and the Department for Education. Liz believes the arts can change lives, engage communities and support the health, well-being and development of inspired, creative and visionary citizens of the future.
