Lisa Stubbs

Lisa's Projects Manager at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. She's a fierce campaigner for equality in education for all students who come from low-income backgrounds. She was Head of Performing Arts at Lewisham College for 16 years before being Principal of Greenwich College.

She lead the borough in setting up a Performing Arts Department for young people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and was instrumental in securing the build of a new theatre space at the college.

She's worked throughout her career to ensure widening participation for all students, and she's written and delivered curriculum which is diverse and relevant to young people in SE London.

Lisa prides herself in having set up progression routes at conservatoires and drama schools for young people to reach their full potential.

Many of her students now have successful careers in the creative industries.

Alongside working in education, Lisa has continued to perform, her most recent work was with Theatre Complicitiés in their latest show, Everything That Rises Must Dance, which was performed at the O2, Somerset House and Croydon Box Park.
